I mean it. Get the Kleenex handy. Thanks to Jo for your invaluable encouragement, and for the alpha and beta. When I knew I'd made Jo cry, I felt there was hope for this fic. I love my Jack and Daniel. I wanted to help them, that's why I wrote this. I have known such grief in my lifetime, and although this fic may read as smarmy to some, those who have 'been there' may just be able to see themselves. Please don't be scared off, I promise you this fic will warm your heart through your tears, and maybe even give you a smile or two along the way. The Peace rose is real. The small rose bushes are called Fairy roses, and yes, they can be planted in a place where they get no care, even in a harsh climate, and still thrive, year after year. Only what I wish for Jack and Daniel.
